This data was a snapshot of the Citeseer (a.k.a: ResearchIndex,
http://www.researchindex.com) database of scientific papers. Citeseer
autonomously crawls the web for what appears to be scientific papers, parses
them, and extracts their citation papers. The data here is a snapshot from
February of 2001.
