Demonstration

In this demonstration, you will create, compile, and run a sample CHAIMS program.

The CHAIMS program you create will use the services of the RR megamodule. The RR megamodule is a megamodule we built which is a simple room reservation application. Using CHAIMS, you can contact the RR server and reserve, cancel, or list a reservation for a room.

The RR megamodule is a CORBA server that has been wrapped to understand CHAIMS. We used the Infomaster Room Reservation program as a model for our room reservation server. Ours is a much smaller and less robust room reservation program than Infomaster, and our server reserves rooms for an imaginary building rather than a real one.

Click on the button below to start the demo.

Note: in case of no results, the server might be down; try again later!
