For the Baby-demo we will just hardcode all inputs in the megaprogram. ==> Megaprogram has to distinguish between literals and variables. Hao has written functions that convert a string, a integer, and soon also a boolean into ASN.1-data. For hardcoded parameter values the compiler has to call these functions. ==> Woody Versioning of Compilers ----------------------- We have to start a versioning of the compiler. Right now we have the compiler that is used by Catherine in the web-demo. Another version will be the compiler used in the Baby-demo that will also handle correctly ASN.1-blobs and be adapted to the interface of the wrappers. ==> Woody RMI --- Catherine will make this term a wrapper for RMI, hopefully already including ASN.1-data conversion. Mehul adds this term to the compiler the generation of an RMI-client. He will contact Woody for the compiler-code. In order to guarantee that the RMI-wrappers will and compiler-output will integrate, Catherine will make RMI-CHAIMS-protocol-specification until next week. -- Dorothea Beringer Stanford University beringer@db.stanford.edu http://www-db.stanford.edu/people/beringer.html --
