Minutes of the weekly meeting of 2/18/98

Current state of work:
- Catherine is writing a megamodules in Java for scheduling.
- Woody has done various clean-up work in the compiler and will now look into
  the wrappers (knowledge transfer).
- Pankaj and Hao are working on the wrappers. We discussed how dynamic the
  ASN.1-interpreter should be. There are still many open questions about this. 
- Kazuki and Hao are making a I/O-megamodule, first priority is for display, 
  second priority is input.
- Mehul is converting the Room-Reservation megamodule into a Java server. He 
  is also going to enhance the CHAIMS compiler so it will generate a Java 
  client that uses RMI. How we are going to have clients that can talk RMI, 
  CORBA and DCE simultanously is not yet clear.
