Minutes weekly meeting 2/11/98

I/O-megamodule:
For the display-functions we have all necessary information in the 
datablob itself. Yet for the input-functions we need to the information 
what we have to input from somewhere (see also specification of the 
I/O-megamodule on the web). This information can either come from the 
repository, or we introduce additional CHAIMS-primitives that allow to 
query a megamodule for this metainformation (having queries for what 
methods a megamodule offers, what parameters these methods need, etc.). 
The intput-function of the I/O-megamodule would then receive as input a 
datablob with no valid data but in the ASN.1 format expected for the 
return datablob.
For the sake of simplicity we decided to go now for the first solution, 
though the more dynamic second solution will probably be where we will 
go in the long run. 
Furthermore, Hao is going to see if a web page for input can be generated from 
the ASN-1 description.

Dorothea gave the first part of her talk (why doing research in 
scenario modelling, what is analysis about).
