Minutes weekly meeting 2/4/98

It was just a short meeting, there seem to be no big problems around.

CORBA-COM-Bridges: 
Also IONA is going to offer a one-way bridge COM-client - CORBA-server. From a 
reality point of view it would be nice to have also CHAIMS-client that run on NT 
with COM (most front-ends are Windows/NT). Yet we will not do it, because it 
would take up far too much resources, and it would not really advance the 
research we are doing.

Java:
Catherine and Mehul are working on generating a Java-client and making 
Java-servers. The distribution protocol will be RMI.


The talk of Dorothea got postponed by a week.
